Hey there! I’m Lexi—
Lexis Kennedy Sall, to be exact, and I’m the face behind the camera, your biggest hype girl and someone who truly gets it. I married the love of my life and my best friend, Levi Sall, this past July, so brides, trust me when I say wedding planning is equal parts chaotic and magical. I’ve been there, I survived, I loved every minute of it, and I’m always looking for ways to help in any way I can.
I grew up in Byron Center, Michigan, and now Levi and I live out in Alto, which we absolutely love. Our little family wouldn’t be complete without our golden retriever, Stanley, who has fully claimed the title of the “goodest boy.” He brings so much joy and of course, a little bit of chaos into our lives.
Education wise, I took a bit of a creative double path. I studied Architecture at Ferris State University and Photography at Kendall College of Art and Design, which allows me to live out both of my passions. By day, I work as an architectural and interior designer at Paradigm Design in downtown Grand Rapids, and by heart (and during lunches, nights, and weekends), I’m capturing meaningful moments through photography. Design and photography go hand in hand for me. Composition, storytelling, and intentional detail are at the core of everything I create.
When I’m not working or photographing, I’m all about quality time with family and friends, those moments mean everything to me. Summer is my favorite season, so you’ll usually find me on our boat, fishing (when I’m not cold), or camping in our little popup with an iced coffee or latte in hand… and if it’s not coffee, it’s probably a margarita (preferably frozen). I also love volunteering at my church as a GEMS leader and leading a young marrieds group with my husband. In the winter, I enjoy finding new shows to watch with Levi, cuddling Stan man or taking him on walks, and daydreaming about next summer; plus, all the coffee dates with you, my photography friends, and the new friendships photography has brought into my life.
